Dear Alls..
just came up with the certain urge to put somewhere feelings and experiences i have gotten in my mind heart. sometimes there is this feeling that I have to tell it to someone, and someone who will understand, who will not judge or misunderstand, who will be patient and just listen and accept.
more and more there are new experiences i go through as girlfriend of a certain person, with his own personality, cultural and characteristic features.
Today i had opportunity to take part in something that took place for the first time in place called Agia Skepi (detox center). Place, where people who are dependent on things they should not be, can find a refuge, can find people who will do everything to help them. Its beautiful. There were about 20 guys and one pregnant lady who received honor to be called as "clean" for at least three years. There were tears in the eyes of mothers, fathers, brothers. There was His Eminence Athanasios, Metropolitan of Limassol giving congratulations to the guys who went through the programme, who were smiling, who had saved their lives back through this place, blessed by Agia Skepi and our Lord.
The presentation with recorded voices of the guys who are still going through the programme, showed everyday activities of these kids (they are called like that), things that go through their minds and how the programm is working in their lives. a little insight:
"“I agreed to go for a week and stayed two years. If it hadn’t been for Ayia Skepi I would be dead.”
Alexi says his stay at Ayia Skepi was psychologically gruelling, but that it is the only way to recover from heroin addiction. During his time there, he learned how to communicate with others and to ask for help. Group therapy, gardening, sports and kitchen duties are all part of the programme, he said. Eventually, the patients are allowed day passes and even 24-hour passes. They are also sent out to work. This way they are reintegrated back into society slowly, he said.
Alexi recognizes he has an addictive personality and swings from extremes. Sometimes even now he feels lonely and shuts himself off from the world for a few days to stay at home and compose as well as play the upright bass. At first he was very angry with his parents, but now he has come to terms with their parenting techniques and that they too, like him, have faults."

For me as a"clean" person seems that I would even need to be there, to recruit the state of mind for the life. To answer important questions, to sharpen my humility skills, to be disciplined, to recognize power of God through this place. (picture will be)
